ID 405 Interior Design V

Students complete group projects that involve comprehensive design solutions developed for larger-scale spaces for special populations, such as assisted-living, child-care, and other special-needs facilities. Emphasis is on barrier-free design concepts, universal design application, and building and life safety codes. Various presentation styles are employed; freehand drafting, sketching, models, and computer-aided drafting skills are all incorporated. Prerequisite: ID 304.
