CE 720 Advanced Theories and Models in Counselor Education

An in-depth exploration of several specific counseling theories including foundational writing and emerging theories. The seminar is designed to help advanced students develop ideas about the relationship between the theory and practice of counseling. The advanced course places a major emphasis on emerging theories and on the art of teaching theories. Prerequisites: admission to the Counselor Education and Supervision program, CE 502 or its equivalent, permission of faculty. (3)
