MBA 622 Advanced Financial Management

Develops an understanding of the rapidly evolving theory of finance so that the student can evaluate the firm's investment, financing, and dividend decisions in keeping with an objective of maximizing shareholder wealth. This course presents an application of analytical techniques to a variety of problems in financial management and exposes the student to the institutional material necessary for a solid understanding of the environment in which managerial decisions are made. Computer applications are integrated throughout the course to aid the analyst in financial decision-making. Prerequisite MBA 522 or equivalent knowledge. (3)
