PS 583 Psychology and Treatment of the Juvenile Offender

Examines the psychological factors leading to the causes, classification, and treatment of juvenile offenders. Students will explore psychodynamic and developmental approaches, emphasizing neurotic, constitutional, and psychological factors contributing to delinquency and the implications they hold for alternative methods of treatment.
