TRS 565 Violence, Religion, and Peacemaking

This course takes an interdisciplinary perspective to explore the phenomenon of religious violence and religious peacemaking. Students will examine historical and contemporary examples of religiously justified violence and peacemaking in a variety of religious traditions and undertake a research project on a specific case study.
