ED 565 Cross-cultural Education and the Language Arts
Addresses the unique language arts needs of students in grades K-12 who are also involved in urban and suburban multicultural and diverse settings. The student develops teaching techniques in the language arts that augment the existing curriculum using the Virginia Standards of Learning as a framework. Field experience: 10 hours. Prerequisites: ED 502 and ED 503. (3)
