NU 333 Health Promotion and Illness Management in the Childbearing Family

Focuses on nursing care of families during the childbearing phase of the life cycle — from preconception through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Addresses normal and high-risk pregnancy and each phase of the childbearing period. Course includes lecture and clinical. Prerequisite for all students:NU 331. Prerequisite for students in the four-year B.S.N. program: NU 246. Prerequisites for students in the accelerated B.S.N. program: NU 230 and NU 231.(4)
