NU 361 Pharmacology
Explores the role of pharmacological agents in promoting health and/or managing illness. The collaborative and teaching roles of the nurse are stressed and specific interventions are identified for primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention for clients receiving pharmaceutical or nutritional therapy. Prerequisite or corequisite for all students: NU 331. Prerequisite for students in the four-year B.S.N. program: NU 246. Prerequisite for students in the accelerated B.S.N. program: NU 231 (3)
