The University offers certificate programs for
course credit to provide students with a credential
in a specialized professional area.
A Marymount certificate program
assures academic quality by:
- n offering only courses from
the University catalog which have been approved
by the Curriculum Committee and Faculty Council;
- n maintaining prerequisites
for courses that normally have prerequisites;
- specifying sequential enrollment
where necessary;
- requiring
completion in a timely manner;
- establishing
minimum entrance requirements; and
- meeting
a clearly defined professional need.
Students receiving a certificate
do not participate in graduation ceremonies.
