Academic Load

Full-time undergraduate students normally carry a minimum of 12 or a maximum of 18 credits per semester. All credits are semester credits. Exceptions to the maximum load require written permission from the associate vice president for Academic Affairs.

An undergraduate student whose cumulative grade point average falls below 2.0 in any semester is placed on academic probation and is limited to a maximum load of 15 credits in the semester that follows except by written permission of the dean of the School offering the student’s major.
