Humanities (Undergraduate Concentration)

Marymount offers opportunities at the undergraduate and graduate level for the study of Humanities.

At the undergraduate level, Humanities is an interdisciplinary concentration in the Liberal Studies major. At the graduate level, a Master of Arts in Humanities is available. Please see the University’s Graduate Catalog for information on the graduate Humanities program.

Humanities (Undergraduate Concentration)

Students may choose the Humanities as one of their concentrations in the Liberal Studies major. The concentration applies resources, theories, and methodologies from six humanities disciplines and prepares students to address issues of values, ethics, and cultural enrichment. Students choosing this concentration are well prepared for Marymount’s Master of Arts in Humanities degree program or other graduate programs in humanities disciplines.
