MBA 621 Strategic Marketing Management

The goal of this course is to focus on the strategic aspects of marketing decision making. Strategic initiatives within the context of the components of the marketing mix are explored and developed. The overall value proposition of the organization is examined with an emphasis on creating strategies that are consistent with the various stages of the product life cycle. Additional focus is placed on creating sustainable strategies with an awareness of competing economic, social, cultural, global, ethical, and environment factors. Prerequisite: MBA 521 or equivalent knowledge. (3)
